General Assembly 2010

ICC holds a General Assembly (GA) every four years at which Inuit delegates from across the circumpolar region elect a new Chair and an Executive Council, develop policies and adopt resolutions that will guide the activities of the organization for the coming term. The General Assembly is at the heart of the organization, providing an opportunity for sharing information, discussing common concerns, debating issues and strengthening the bonds between all Inuit.

The 11th ICC GA will be held in Nuuk, Greenland, June 28-July 2, 2010.

ICC Alaska GA Blog

Through a special collaboration between ICC-Alaska and photographer/reporter Bill Hess, we will be creating regular photographic blog-posts from the Assembly. Along with a summation of the daily activities, the blog will include candids, portraits and profiles of attendees from all four of the ICC nations: Russia, USA, Canada and Greenland, as well as coverage from the cultural events.

Posts will appear regularly on Mr. Hess’s blog. Click here to access the blog.
